Man shot at vending machine sues Coke
September 3, 2003

A man who was shot five times while loading a vending machine at a western Sydney TAFE is suing Coca-Cola for negligence.

Craig Pareezer, 38, is suing Coca-Cola Amatil after he was shot as he loaded a soft drink vending machine at Werrington TAFE on February 17, 1997.

Mr Pareezer was shot in the head, chest, stomach, leg and hand, and would never be able to work again, the NSW Supreme Court was told today.

His son Scott, who was then seven, witnessed the shooting and his wife Suzanne was at the scene soon afterwards.

Both his wife and son also are suing Coca-Cola Amatil for nervous shock.

Mr Pareezer's counsel John Rowe said his client also had been assaulted while working at Werrington TAFE two years earlier and Coca-Cola knew about gangs targeting vending machine operators in the area.

"There is evidence that Coke knew there was a gang operating in the Penrith area that was targeting (vending) machines and keys," Mr Rowe said.

The hearing continues.

I'm discussing the inequity the judiciary has to consider when sentencing an intellectually disabled offender. Normalacy versus Special Needs, and also which sentencing goals should be more weighted to achieve a proportionate sentence. Or should they achieve a proportionate sentence at all?

Well i'm thinking of dismissing the whole issue and arguing diversion. But how can you find justice in an unjust society? honnestly is giving an offender with an intellectual disability 20 yrs in gaol the same as an non-intellectually disabled person who get's 20 yrs for commiting a like murder case? THEN the inetllectually disabled person not being allowed parole a significantly longer time than the latter? This does happen.

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas

"First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we

let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today.

Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their
religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls
in Hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's
Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay
the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are
added.
